Jeno Auto was founded and established in 2003, and is still being run today, by Nowellyn van Vuuren and Jenny van Vuuren. In 2003, Nowellyn left his job as a member in the police force to follow his passion. The business started as a one person operation in a garage at home. In 2005, after two years of working from home, the growth of the business allowed Jeno Auto to move to an official premises. Once in the first premises a decision was made to open a towing section for the company. This meant that a year later, in 2006, the business needed to move to a new and bigger premises. At this new premises the towing services brought much business to Jeno Auto, so Nowellyn and Jenny were forced to move to a premises with storage for towing vehicles. Jeno found themselves at this premises for almost 6 years, before deciding to do away with towing and focus more on growing the mechanical services of the business. In 2013, the company moved to a premises down the road which would allow them to operate more smoothly as a mechanical service. Five years later, in 2018, the business moved to a bigger premises which consists of two plots joined (also in the same street). This move, with the space of two plots, allowed us to have a clear divide between our mechanical services and our yellow metal machine engineering department. Our full staff complimented service
centre has extensive knowledge and
experience built over the many years.
